“This is a crazy, fucked-up album from start to finish. Not so sure I like how I described it, but then again Voyager is a pretty impossible album to describe. We got a couple new records coming up around the bend.  October 23rd we will be releasing Bastard Sapling’s debut full length “Dragged From Our Restless Trance” the following month  on the 20th will see the release of the Humungus “Drinkin’ A Beer” 7″.

I.  NEW RECORDS

We have a re-press of the WINDHAND “s/t” LP currently available in our web-store, it’s on 180 gram white vinyl and we finished it up about a month or so ago.  It’s moving quick and down to only about 200 left out of 500.  You can also grab it from Revolver USA / Midhaven Mailorder and All That’s Heavy.  If you really want the 2nd press of white 180 gram vinyl I would advise ordering it direct from us ASAP or making a point to get it from the band on tour.

Available July 31st is the debut full length from Richmond’s punk mongers UNHOLY THOUGHTS “the Attic”.  Recorded in 2011 at Sound of Music (GWAR, AVAIL, STRIKE ANYWHERE, LAMB OF GOD) with Bryan Walthall and mastered by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound Mastering.  These deviants are comprised of ex GOVERNMENT WARNING as well as current SOUTHSIDE STRANGLERS, HAVERCHUCKS, and THE DEVIL’S HAND.  Sonically these freaks are bringing something along the lines of the speed of JERRY’S KIDS without it falling apart and the rock n roll snarl of THIN LIZZY and ANNIHILATION TIME.  First press is 495 copies on 180 gram black vinyl cut at 45 RPM encased in black jackets with metallic silver ink, black dust sleeves, and double sided heavy weight insert.  You can pre-order the album now.

Just in time for the end days, Richmond, Virginia’s THE CATALYST return with the long-awaited followup to 2009′s criminally underrated “Swallow Your Teeth”, a sonic odyssey into the furthest, blackest reaches of interstellar space and the human psyche that is fittingly titled “Voyager”.  The record will come on three mind blowing color vinyl variants and be available September 4th, for the impatient we will be running a pre-order that will go up on our store next Monday of the most limited run (yellow and orange a side b side with black and red splatter) or for those lucky enough to catch the band on their upcoming month long tour they will have a second variant of orange and clear haze.  Pre-orders ship August 13th ensuring you receive the record before the street date.

October 2nd sees the release of the long time coming debut full length from BASTARD SAPLING “Dragged From Our Restless Trance”.  I am finalizing some special pre-order packages at the moment that I know will leave all the heshers stoked.  More on that soon.

Keeping this short, I apologize for the lack of communication.  This has been an extremely difficult and aggravating stretch.  A few days ago I was informed the reason for the long wait was because the plant has been having equipment malfunctions.  They say they should be operational this week and will get back to pressing.  This all has been out of my control and I had no idea about the problems until last week.  To anyone worried they aren’t going to receive the record, I have never fucked anyone over on records nor will I ever.  In addition everyone that pre-ordered the vinyl will be receive a copy of the record on CD as well as a few other goodies.  I promise y’all will be HOOKED up!

The same plant handling WINDHAND is handling MUTILATION RITES, so that record is now going to be slightly delayed and once I get an actual ship date it will go up for sale.

COFFINS / SOURVEIN 7″ vinyl is done, I will be printing the packaging next week.
